    Hi,
I'm a total [BAD WORD REMOVED] when it comes to technical stuff. Anyway, I bought a domain, redirected it to my webhotel and installed WordPress with the webhotels installation tool. The adress to my blog ended up as "http://nhl-kungen.se/wp" I dont understand why there's a "wp" on the end of it but without that /wp I couldn't reach my site. Well guess wp stands for word press but dont get it why I couldnt get it at the URL without the wp.

Anyway, after having it up and running for 2 months I just recently got tired of that /wp and went to the settings in the admin panel of my WP-blog. There was two columns (cant remember exactly what it said) but I tried to change the URL of my blog to nhl-kungen.se without that stupid /wp in the end so I just removed it. 1 Second later my page looks like shit, I can't log on my blogg anylonger and I im totally fucked. Any ideas? :(

The /wp means it's installed in a sub-directory (folder) named "wp". This is most likely the result of the installer they provided you with.

What's happening now is because you removed that sub directory from the path in your wordpress URL's without properly moving wordpress to the root of your site, and you can no longer log in or call your style sheets.

Step one: use the info in this article to change your site urls back to what they were. Read them all before choosing a method that will work best for you.
    Changing The Site URL

Once that's done you can log in at "http://nhl-kungen.se/wp/wp-admin"

Hm, I haven't got a wp-config.php in my folders :/ only got wp-config-sample.php. Using the "Relocate method"where you're supposed to paste in "define('RELOCATE',true);"

Isnt there any easier method? I don't understand a thing from these four different examples.

Chances are you will need to change them back directly from the database. If your host offers phpMyAdmin as a database tool in your control panel, that may be easiest.

The support group at your hosting service may be able to help you out with it. Might be worth giving them a call.

    Oh [BAD WORD REMOVED] :|

Unfortunately it doesnt seem to work fully. When I click on "comments" below any of my blog posts I get directed to

    "Index of /

    cgi-bin/
    wp/

Apache Server at nhl-kungen.se Port 80"

Thats the white almost blank page I get to if I type nhl-kungen.se without the /wp.

    :/

You need to protect directories that don't have an index file from casual browsing. There may be a setting in your hosts control panel that will allow you to do that, or you can place an .htaccess file in the root directory with Options -Indexes in it. You could place a blank index.php file in there instead if you like, but you should consider protecting your wordpress directories too. Your host should be able to guide you on the best way to do that from your control panel.
