This is my first attempt at a WP site and it's coming together very well. It will operate as a newsletter and promotion calendar for the furniture and gift stores. It links to the furniture site, but the furniture site doesn't yet link to the blog.
I think E-commerce is in our near future for the gifts, but I have to decide whether to run it on the Flash Furniture store side or the blog side.

The site looks nice, though there are a few things I would change. Personally I've always enjoyed a little Black, but when you have that much of the background visible, a slightly lighter shade of charcoal might be better, or just cover up more of the background so the black is an accent instead of a primary focus.
In addition, too many posts are on the front page, making it scroll and scroll and scroll. This can be intimidating to people who won't want to sit there and just keep scrolling down. I'd recommend making only a few posts show up on the frontpage and then heavily use tags and categories to help people find what they're looking for.

I definitely appreciate constructive criticism. This is my first blog. The all black background is meant to help tie together the flash site with the blog, I was experimenting with another color for contrast, but my WP design skills hit a wall. Still experimenting though.
I will be adding a page break.
