   Hi, I have site that I have been working on for about a little over two months. It is rather plain and I think it could use some tweeking to make it a little more visually appealing. I uploaded a picture that I took for the header but I am really not all that happy with it. I want to make it a little more "custom" if possible. Additionally I am curious as to what people think about it and what I could do to improve it. I've never ran a blog or website of any kind, so my appoligies if it isn't up to par.    Love the idea behind it, something a lot of people can relate to!

   I think maybe searching around for a new theme if you're unsure how to create your own might be a good place to start, if you're looking for a more custom feel. WordPress is very useful in that you can switch easily to and from different styles. It might even be worthwhile looking at competing blogs and see what they're doing and you're not.

   Thanks for the reply. I would also like to come up with some type of a logo but I know that isn't a WordPress issue. I will look at some different themes to see if anything fits what I am trying to do. I will also check into the competing blogs idea. So far I am just trying to beef up the content but I would also like to try to make it a little more visually appealing if possible.

   Websites are always a work in progress. I just put up this [link moderated] Attorneys website a few days ago. The template was done with a program called Artisteer which will do wordpress themes as well. You should check it out.

   Thanks for the reply InSightInternetMarketing! I will check have to check it out. With it being an Attorneys website I am guessing that it is more of a static site that a blog site, correct? Might also me useful to me when I start my next website. I have a lot to learn before I can start another site though.

   I briefly checked out the site that you mentioned. It looks pretty nice! I will most definitely be checking out Artisteer when I get a chance (probably tomorrow).
