My Customized Themes Are All Broken in Firefox (3 posts)

    My customized themes are all broken with Firefox, but are all working in IE. They were ALL working great in BOTH browsers before I upgraded to 2.0 and 2.1.... but now. They are broken and I CANNOT for the life of me figure out why. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

    I cannot explain why they used to work before the upgrade, as you assert, but your theme seems to be producing pretty invalid code. There are over 60 errors you need to fix. If I were you, I'd start there first.

    I also noticed that your theme directory has spaces in it. This is not recommended.

    Most of the errors in the code are due to the XTHML-strict DOCTYPE declaration, and the non-XHTML form of many elements in the code.

    For example: a large number of BR and IMG elements are missing the closing /. And the TARGET attribute in some of the anchor elements has extra double-quotes, like this: "target="_blank"

    It may just be that the latest Firefox is even more strict about the code matching the DOCTYPE.
