   Yes, I'm a n00b...

   I just want it to be regular text, as on my homepage/portfolio. I'm not sure how this occured.

   The only link that is closed in your navbar is "blog"
   The text and photo are inheriting the contact link because it's not closed

   You have a few more errors, also.
   The unclosed links start on line 36
