    Problem: My Calendar overlaps the right sidebar Searching help showed a 5 year old answer, not sure it is still relevant?

    I have a full site backup prior to this little problem, but hope to avoid a restore (I have never done a restore in WordPress).

    I am a newbie and inherited volunteer management of the web site. I am using the latest Easel theme and the recent My Calendar update 2.0.9.

    I am not sure if something is wrong with style.css or style-default.css (I think I am back at "factory original" in both) or with something in My Calendar.

    Here is the URL BikeWJW calendar

    October and prior overlap the sidebar and background. Next Events do not! Fonts are a bit off in all.

    Suggestions?

    The problem is that the font for your event titles is too large. The calendar as a whole will be sized to fit your space available, but the minimum width of each cell is the length of the longest word in that cell.

    My Calendar assigns a fairly small size for those titles, but it looks like you theme assigns the size of an h3 and the size of an anchor inside an h3 separately, which causes a problem:

    You can change the line:

    .mc-main h3 {

    to

    .mc-main h3, .mc-main h3 a {

    You'll then want to tweak the size of the font -- .8em will be too small, because it's being applied twice, but you can make your own decision there.

    Joe,

    You are (of course) great. That fixed it. .8EM actually was a good choice. .9 was a bit big.
