For the last two days, my blog has been very slow to load or it doesn't even load at all, so I end up getting a white page telling me that I am having server problems.
However, I called my host, Go Daddy, three times and they said the problem is not on their end.
They said I need to check my scripts.
But I am also having problems with my other site which is hosted by Go Daddy.
The sites are http://carlosmiller.com and http://magiccitymedia.com
What do you think could be the problem?

Network Timeout
The server at carlosmiller.com is taking too long to respond.
This is the page I get.
The requested site did not respond to a connection request and the browser has stopped waiting for a reply.
* Could the server be experiencing high demand or a temporary outage? Try again later.
* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check the computer's network connection.
* Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.
* Still having trouble? Consult your network administrator or Internet provider for assistance

I'm also having the same problem and my host is JustHost. They say that the problem is not on their end also. My wp-admin page will start to load and then just stop. Eventually I get a "timed-out" error message. Can anyone assist with this?

I've been told it's some sort of DNS issue but I don't know how to remedy it.
The problem is only when I try to log on from home. If I take my laptop somewhere else, I can log on fine.
I guess I just have to move to a new apartment.

I was having this problem sooner. Go a search for a free web speed test; it'll graph out why it takes so long and what files require the most time to get started.
From that, I did a search for an optimzer addon, changed a few link structures, adjusted an addon and shaved 9 seconds off my load time.
In other words -- it's likely not one big problem ... quite possibly it's a bunch of smaller ones.

Hostgator has been a problem free web host for me for over 10 years. You might consider switching. [spam link removed]
