Today my blog somehow the Themes and Plugins Dissapeared from my dashboard and now my blog comes up as a blank white page. I really need the blog since we are doing live Election Day coverage tomorrow.

No the themes and plugins dissappeared from the Dashboard. So I go into the directory remove all of them and then reinstall them and they still didn't show up!

Check with your host to see if they upgraded something backend (apache, php, mysql?) or tightened up the mod_security ruleset for some reason. Or changed anything else....

Called my host company. They must have made a change in security or something, I needed to change the option for the WordPress URL (under general options) to match the full URL instead of using my domain name. IE: xxxxx.netfirms.com/xxxx.com/xxxx/nfblog
This fixed it for me.

There's an easy way to avoid losing your blog due to a crash or accidental deletion. Check out this new app called BlogBackupOnline. It's free to use and I have tried it and it works great. I recommend it!

I am new to WordPress and I recently attempted to change my header to include and image. Now when I go to my URL there is no way to login! Help!
