Today I installed a plugin “GD Star Rating” and then the admin panel page of my website appear blank. Now I can’t deactivate the plugin. Is it that the plugin is not compatible with the latest wordpress?

  • FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and delete the plugin’s folder in wp-content/plugins.

Just follow what esmi has told you. Or you can try just by renaming the plugins folder to different file name. Then refresh your dashboard.

Based on the information below, the plugins last update was on 2010-10-16 but nobody reported broken.

Maybe you can try by disabling all other plugins and enable the GD Star Rating itself and see how it goes.

Thanks esmi and arrentan,I renamed the plugin folder and now it is ok,and the way arrentan said is a good idea but there are too many plugins so I will try other ratings plugin.

    You’re welcome.
