Since you haven’t provided a site url or theme name, I can only suggest that you contact the theme’s author.
Sorry, can you tell I’m a newboy !! My url is jrarticlez.com The theme name is at the bottom of the page. Thank you, Jules !!
I have copied the Adsense code into the provided boxes
Where were these boxes? I don’t know the theme myself.
They were in the Adsense plugin. I followed the instructions and in the plugin there were several boxes that were there to post code in. I copied the code, a yellow bar at the top of the screen read something about being successful. But no adds. I even recopied a second time but nothing.
Here’s a thought !! I realize I don’t you but if I gave the login info, are you able to fix it perhaps ??
Which Adsense plugin are you using?
It is called Quick Adsense by Philip Z
I actually picked this one based on the number of stars on customer reviews. If you know of a better one, Please tell me and I will switch. I am trying to write keyword rich blogs/articles on or about things I will be promoting on the internet.ie: Adsense websites, My own sports website, and if all goes well an e-book. Lofty ambitions I know, but that’s why I choose WordPress as I understand search engines love it. I myself don’t like it yet !!!
You should spend a few more days tinkering around with WordPress – your theme files and stuff. You can actually insert the plugin directly to the single.php, index.php or wherever you want it. 🙂
That all sounds good if you know what that stuff is. I know some but learn as I go. I have had WordPress for three weeks and this I why I am here.
