My Host: AFMU.com
My blog domain: Innergetic.org
I'm confused and upset at losing all the information I collected on my blog over the last year.
I would like to get it back if possible.. I thought I could post anything I wanted if I used my own host??
The only reason I could think of it being suspended is because I was using my wordpress.com account for tracking stats. When I login to my wordpress.com account, my independently hosted blog is listed as a Linked Blog. Is that enough association with WordPress.com to get suspended for violating wp.COM terms of service? I don't understand what I did wrong.. Can I get an explanation?
I sent an email to Support at wordpress.com (I don't expect a reply from there because my blog wasn't hosted from there...)
I'm a little confused on why you think WordPress.com suspended your self-hosted blog? Have you contacted your host to see if they know what's up? I think that's where I'd start.

Sounds like you may want to contact AFMU.com and discuss it with them. They will probably be able to tell you what prompted the suspension, and what you have to do to get your files and database back.

No matter how I try to access my account (/wp-admin, /cpanel, domain directly) It just gives me a big screen of ACCOUNT SUSPENDED. But when I log in to my Host at AFMU, it says my domain is active. I sent a support ticket to AFMU and I'm waiting for a response.
It seems to me so far that wordpress had something to do with the suspension. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll post here again after I hear from my host.
I can promise you that WordPress.org (this site) had absolutely nothing to do with your suspension. While I can't speak for WordPress.com, I sure can't see how they could possibly work with your host to suspend an account just based on your using a plugin.
You really need to talk to AFMU.

How have you managed to go this long without getting hacked?

I'm talking with my host.
They said this so far
"I am sorry, it does seem that notice was not sent out. The account launched a number of processes and cuased the server to become inaccessible. This happened a few times with in the course of an hour. The site was suspended to prevent this. Have you been making changes to the site recently? Are you running the latest version of wordpress and all of its plugins ?"
Do you think I was hacked because I didn't upgrade to the latest WordPress client?
It is entirely possible that you were hacked. If you feel that you were, remain calm and follow this guide very carefully:
