If an eCommerce shop was to be set up via oscommerce, would sales through the store count towards the UK Official sales charts?
If not, would there be a way in order for them to count using this platform?

I guessing it may be possible, but it is not done by default and would require additional programming and research. In a nutshell (and I'm still guessing), you would have to get your store to communicate with whatever the system is used for gathering the chart information. To do this you will have to get the information from that company and see what information your store would need to transmit to them and what the protocol is. Weather or not they would allow you to do this is another matter as their system would have to be very secure to prevent any type of fraud or manipulation.
