Multisite wp-login.php has links to default site (3 posts)

    Using WP 3.4 to run a Network: I note that each domain's wp-login.php contains both links to the domain in question and links to the default site on the Network.

    For example wp-login.php it is using the network_site_url() function to create links to the default site - I can't see why this would be necessary seeing as all login/logout/password reset functionality is in wp-login.php as available on each domain in the Network.

    Ideally I would like each site appear to be self contained when it comes to the users (subscribers) that have logins.

    Thanks Ipstenu. That's good news on the one hand, but bad news in that it looks like nothing is going to be done.
