    Hi there,
i have a new multisite installation using folders and 2 subsites:
    domain.com/site1
    domain.com/site2

If I upload pictures to one of the subsites, the path i get looks like this:

    domain.com/site1/assets/sites/2/pic.jpg

Which doesnt work, since theres no folder called site1. If i delete the site1 , the image is there.

    My .htaccess looks like this:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

    # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?wp-admin$ $1wp-admin/ [R=301,L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ - [L]
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $2 [L]
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?(.*\.php)$ $2 [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]

any ideas? thanx for your help.

Check the Codex, it has the code you might need to input. There are variations depending on your WP install and how it was upgraded, or what version you initially setup multisite under.
