Multisite SSL/HTTPS on Subsites in CPanel

    Hi everyone,

    I have recently been tasked with setting up two established domains within a multisite setup with HTTPS encryption. They are structured like this:

    http://www.maindomain.com (SSL)
    |
    + – -> http://www.subsite1.com (SSL)
    |
    + – -> http://www.subsite2.com (NO SSL)

    Multisite is configured to use subdirectories and we have a multi-domain (UCC) certificate. What needs to be done in order to allow both the main site and one subsite to connect via HTTPS using this certificate?

    In both cases, the only subdomain that needs to support HTTPS is www.
