Multisite sites login always redirecting to root
-
Hi,
I am new to wordpress so i would appreciate your help. I currently have wordpress multisite set up on a linux box with an IP address rather than an domain name (if that makes a difference!).
I had one site setup (but not used) and then setup the multisite functionality.
I therefore have two sites. One is the existing site located in the root, <ip address>/ the other is a newly created site, created through Network Admin>sites>add new which is in the subdirectory, <ip address>/interim/.
When logged in as the administrator for the interim site all of the admin links attempt to link to the root rather than the sub directory, so if i try to go to the interim dashboard it sends me to <ip address>/wp-admin/ rather than <ip address>/interim/wp-admin/ . I therefore get the following error: “You don’t have permission to view this site. Please contact the system administrator.”
Also attempting to login always redirects me to the root and therefore unless i log in as network admin i get the permission error.
Could anyone suggest what i need to do to correct this error.
Thanks for your help!
