I would like to use this feature, but I want to make sure it's going to do what I want before I go through all the work of setting it up. I have 3 domains + 1 sub-domain, all hosted on the same server, I would like to be able to write blog posts in the main domain application of WordPress then push the info to the other sites.

I saw information about sub-domains and folders, they are in folders, but I do want them to have their own domain names.

My main domain is in the root folder with the additional domains in folders below it as well as the sub-domain.

The reason why I want to do this is because I want all the blog post to post on the main domain and certain topics to post on the sub-domains and other domains.

  2. Yes, you'd need a couple extra plugins though.

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/ for the domain names

    and one of these

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/threewp-broadcast/
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/multipost-mu/

to push posts to the other blogs.

Thank you Andrea for the fast reply, it's very appereciate!

So, I'm in the process of adding everything.... I got through the network part. I didn't add any of the extra sites yet (I hope that's correct). And I'm adding the domain-mapping plug-in. I did as the directions told me. I'm find except for the domain-mapping.php file in the mu-plugins folder takes my site to a blank page :(

What in the heck did I miss?

I did add a wild card domain *.mysite.com in my subdomain add-ons. My main domain has the dns pointing to my hosting server (Web Hosting Pad).

    TIA!

  4. You'll need to add sites and verify they are owrking before you can domain map any of them.
