Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@breathe.greggmcgough.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Did you set up breathe.greggmcgough.com as a subdomain with it’s own folder, instead of pointing it back to the public_html folder?

    Yes. And yes.

    Uh, I think. Explain please.

    Okay.

When you setup a subdomain, by DEFAULT, it points to /public_html/subdomainname or the equivilent, sometimes it’s /home/www/, but the important thing is that ‘subdomainname’ slug at the end.

Multisite needs you to have it point to /public_html/, i.e. where WP is installed, so that all traffic for breathe is sent to greggmcgough.com, and WordPress magically translates it.

Thinking may that WP isn’t stored in my root directory. Any chance that I can send you a screen capture from Coda menu?

If WP isn’t in root, subdomains will never work.

Post the image on cloud.ly or imageshack and link to it 🙂

WordPress is installed in the root (See the www? That’s your root)

Your subdomains need to point to that www location.
