   At the end of installation (Step 6 of Create A Network),

   I disconnect, and cannot connect again : "Error establishing database connection"

   If I remove those lines :
   define( 'MULTISITE', true );
   define( 'SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL', false );

   I can connect.
   But WP is not Multisite...

   Please note that this line:

   define('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true);

   shoudl be there as well.
