Multisite with independent themes folder (3 posts)

    Hello!

I've been searching in forums and google and everything... but I didn't see a topic or a solution for this.
That's why I'll ask here, hehehe.

I wonder if it's possible to have wordpress in multisite setup and the themes folder be independent for each blog, so the users (using a ftp) can upload a theme to their respective folder and the other users won't see that theme or have access to that folder, and the super-admin won't have to make active that theme for the network.

    Thanks.

No, but what you *can* do is enable a theme to be available to only specific sites. That way the other users won't see it, or have access to it. Permitting users to upload and activate themes would be high-risk, and isn't possible, as far as I know.

    Thank you for your answer!

As I was thinking is not possible unless we have separate blogs for each user, that way they can upload config files and themes, using ftp.
