Multipule Page Layouts/Templates (5 posts)

    So, i'll let you know what I need to do and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

    I want to have serveral different layouts with in a site.

    A layout for the homepage with top nav, then the tier 1 pages would have an addition of side nav, tier 3 pages would have a slightly different layout.

    Is there any plugin that does this, say when you make a page you can choose a different template for it?

    or is there a way for me to make the changes within the theme to create this?

    Thanks for any help you may be able to offer!

    Yeah, the Docs provide details how to do this.

    Essentially, you create a .php file with the new page layout. Upload it to your theme folder with your current theme. Then, when you write the page, at the bottom you'll see an option that allows you to set that page to your new layout.

    Make sure you include the required comment on the top that tells WordPress to see it as a layout.

    Is it also possible to select different templates for particular posts (not pages)? Maybe with an existing plugin?
