   WordPress has started duplicating apostrophes every time I hit save on a post. (Ex: Michael's becomes Michael''s.) After a few edits I can end up with four or more apostrophes in a row. I think there is some problem with WP converting ASCII characters to HTML, maybe?

   Can anyone advise? Thanks for any help you can provide.

   I'm using a customized version of the default template.

   From the reading I've done this seems to be a problem with the wptexturize function. Unfortunately I con't find much documentation of wptexturize.
