Multiple sites - same cookies? (3 posts)

    Hey all!

I'm setting up a new web site that uses WordPress as a kind of CMS Light. :) This far I've got it working that several subdomains with individual installs that share the same user-db using the excellent howto by Yoshi that can be found here:http://wordpress.org/support/topic/48553 (IMHO, his post is a good candidate for inclusion in the FAQ..).

BUT! It doesn't share the credentials across the subdomains, so that although all users are registered on all installations, they are still required to log in everywhere separately.

Is it possible to hack the way cookies are handled so that they are shared for the entire domain as well?

    Thanks very much in advance

    Mikael.

Can't help much but point you to WordPress_Cookies which has a few resources that might make sense to you.
