Multiple categories and filters on the Shop page (3 posts)

    Hi!

I dearly hope I'm posting this in the right place. Me and my artist friends are setting up a website to sell our work. We've hit a bit of a speed bump on the Shop page.

We can filter artwork through Category, but we also want to filter through Style, Subject, Location, Price, Orientation and Size?

    Thanks for any help.

Build your own custom menus of categories or tags.

    For example

    Product A
    Category 1 = Style
    Category 2 = Subject
    Category 3 = Location
    and so on.

Then head over to appearance>Menus from the dashboard.

At the top click screen options and make sure product category or product tags is checked.

Create a new menu containing only the categories you want.

Go to widgets and add a custom menu widget to the shop sidebar and pick your newly create menu.

    Job Done!

Thanks Nikal, I followed your advice and did just that. It worked! but here's the thing: I'm not able to show the filters that have been selected at the top of shop sidebar. I'm essentially trying to replicate this site's functionality: Saatchi Shop page

    Thanks for your help! :)
