Multiple “Categoies” widgets with different categories in each

    I’d like to have different sets of categories listed on the side bar with different titles. I can insert the “Categories” widget several times in the (say) left side bar and assign different titles to each of them. But then ALL the categories are listed in each instance. There must be a way of having some categories under one widget, and others under a separate widget. (I know about hierarchy, but that is not what I am talking about here). Is there a way of doing this?

    You can’t limit the display using the Categories widget but you can limit/customise the display using wp_list_categories in your sidebar’s template file.

    Thanks. I have now solved this with the My Category Order plugin.
