    Hey everyone,

Been using wordpress for about a year now and I really like it. I'm planning on expanding my site into different fields. Currently my site is philmadelphia.com which I would like it to stay. However, I'd like to have several different blogs with several different writers per blog. Also each blog would have a subdomain...

    ie.
    music.philmadelphia.com

    art.philmadelphia.com

    issues.philmadelphia.com

    etc.

I'd like to maintain each blog under one panel but limit the writers from each subdomain blog to their own section. Basically like a magazine with featured articles on the main site but also a more focused niche blog for each section...

I just started looking for some solutions and found wordpress MU and lyceum... anyone have any suggestions...?

    Thanks for the help,
    Pete

I have found many asking this question, but no good solutions yet other than Multiple installs of WP.

  3. WordPressMU sounds like your best bet here.

If you make a new WPMU set up, import your first blog as the main one, you should be good to go.
