• Hi there,

I’m a brand new WordPress user, wondering about leaving the currently used b2evolution. With that, I can easily use multiple blog for different areas (one for blogging, one for writings, one for photos, etc.). Can I do that with WordPress? It is extremely important to know this.
    Please, WordPress community, help me!

    Francesco

  • No, there is no multiple blogs feature in WP.
Some people use ‘categories’ to separate their content; others – if there is a real need for separate blogs for different users – they go with WordPress MU ( http://mu.wordpress.org) but we do not support that one here.

Ok, thank you for the answer.
Now: if I use categories, is there a way to display some posts (i.e. the ones related to “writings” category) only when I click on category “writings”? Or do they always appear togheter with all the other posts?
I mean: I use multiple blogs not because of multiple authors (I’m the only one), but to create different areas.
If you want to take a look (my english is so rude) you can check my site out at http://www.silenzi.com, and look on the top, where you’ll find link to different blogs (=areas).

Please, let me know something. And thank you for the quick and kind answer!
