Hey WordPress gurus. We have an install with about 10,000 users and blogs. What is the easiest way to create a Google sitemap feed for the entire network? Any suggestions for this and/or a master RSS feed? Willing to pay for someone to develop something, particularly if it can cut spammers out of the feeds automatically.
[URL removed cause spam sucks]
Sitemaps are PER site, and WordPress thinks of each site as a ... separate site.
At best, you could write a plugin that checked for all the blogs on your site and for each one, popped a line into your robots.txt for site.com/foo/sitemap.xml and so on. Might slow things down a touch. If the 10,000 are static, I'd manually put 'em in my robots.
Well I wouldn't be posting my signup link to a publicly crawled forum for starters. ;)
Get some spam plugins to stop the sploggers.
You don;t need a sitemap fo the whole entire network.
Are you pulling all content to the main site? that'll help.

This will give a sitewide feed as well, or you could try just this one if the site is up:
