Multi Site on GoDaddy VPS (2 posts)

Just installed WordPress Multi-User on wp.aiowebservices.com using the sub-domain mode. I do not have the ability to forward wildcard sub-domains, so I setup a CNAME record testaroo.wp.aiowebservices.com that points to "@" (wp.aiowebservices.com) .

I created the testaroo site in the WordPress administration, but all that happens is the domain ends up at my default under construction fail-safe page (see for yourself). I can't figure it out and have tried several different methods. I also installed the WordPress MU Domain Mapping plug-in, which has not helped either (unless I have configured it wrong).

I am using the GoDaddy Simple Control Panel and am usually pretty good at fixing DNS issues. I cannot edit the actual Apache vhost file since those get wiped out by the control panel every reset.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You should contact your hosting provider about this issue.
