Hi, Good day everyone i am searching how to enable wordpress multi site on local host using xampp i always ended up on An existing WordPress network was detected. after i do the instruction. I also tried to delete the database and install fresh wordpress is there anyway i can enable the multisite or fixing this problem. thank you for you help.

  2. After you do all the steps, yes. if you go back to the setup page it will tell you a network exists. because you just set one up.

Is the network admin link present in the drop-down in the upper right, next to your name? If so, click it.

make sure after setup that you clear your cache before you log back in.

I tried to clear the cache on my browser and also used other browser to check it. But there's no option or link that say network admin.

  4. Look in the database. Are the extra tables all there?

Try accessing the menu directly at /wp-admin/network/.

Hi Ipstenu and Andrea_r thanks for your help all the tables that are listed on the link are there.... but still i don't have the network link on the upper right.

  8. Did you follow all the steps? Add in the rest of the network settings to your .htaccess AND wp-config?

  9. By your username, there's a drop down.

Did you try accessing the menu directly at /wp-admin/network/? Like I asked previously?

Just type it in the URL spot in your browser.

  11. So what happens when you go to network admin directly?

    /wp-admin/network/

    What do you see?

  12. i only see the site
