multi site AND multiple hostnames on single instance

    I have a requirement that we have multiple sites that will have multiple indivdual sites on them. We don’t really want to spin up N instances of wordpress, and was wondering if this is possible?

    example:

    wp.sitea.com/team1
    wp.sitea.com/team2
    wp.sitea.com/team3

    wp.siteb.com/team1
    wp.siteb.com/team2
    wp.siteb.com/team3

    wp.sitec.com/team1
    wp.sitec.com/team2
    wp.sitec.com/team3

    all of those sites using a single instance of WP.

    oh, and i know i’m using old code.. not a biggie, as I can upgrade before this goes live.
