Multi-level menu (aka nesting)
-
I installed the customizr theme today and so far, I’ve been able to work through a lot of my challenges except this one: Why can’t I nest pages?
My site is http://www.backporchwriter.com. I’m not sure you can see it yet. I want to nest info under my Final Thoughts title.
I had no challenges doing this in my free wordpress template, but can’t seem to get it to work in this template. And, I don’t know CSS. I’m just now trying to figure out how to make a child theme thing.
Thank you!

Do you mean have submenus in the menu? If so, then WordPress’s Appearance > Menus does it. Drag the submenus to the right to indent them.
Or do you mean something else?
Ok, across the top I have my main menu items:
Ex. Final Thoughts
This is a parent page. When I try to assign pages to it so that they nest, nothing happens.
The pages that should appear under this are the names of the show guests.
That’s how I had it set up in my previous wordpress.com site that migrated over.
Originally, the Final Thoughts page was nested under Listen In, but the names were still under Final Thoughts. I deleted the Listen In page.
I hope this makes sense. thanks!
Set it up the menu in WordPress’s Appearance > Menus. Drag the sub-pages inwards so that they indent. They will then become submenus.
Great! Thank you!
GREATASTIQ THEME! However, why can I not get more menus? I can ONLY get 2 in the main navigation, though the “Spec” said only 1, but then all the show cased sites have 5,6 and 7 drop-down menus. HOW TO DO THIS NOW? Thanks. My site is swedishschoolatlanta.org if you want to view it as it is now.
I don’t have a logo to place at the top left of my web page so I want my navigation bar to go all the way across (evenly centered above the slider). Is there a way to do that?
I can only choose 1 Main Menu in de Navgation, how do I get more menu’s ?
You can add menus yourself.
by clicking create new menu in the top of the menu page
