Multi-File Downloader Problem. Looking for solution

The multi-file uploader freezes while it is supposed to be “Crunching…”, it displays what I believe is the image ID and seems to go no further.

I have tried:
-using Chrome, Safari, FireFox, Opera (with cleared cash and browser history for each)
-updating flash player
-clearing flash player local cache
– Using ccleaner to cleanup registry and temporary files.

I know it has nothing to do with the wordpress version, as it is a problem on multiple versions. The amount of files it processes seems to change depending on ???(I don’t know). I have had 6 go through then a freeze. I’ve had none go through when it froze. The ccleaner seemed to open it up to get 5 files through.

And I know the Multi-File Downloader downloads the files perfectly from my laptop.

So… Any ideas? Anyone have a similar problem and find a solution?
