Following upgrade to the new gcal release, there’s an unwelcome behavior change in the gcal widget. Multi-day events are showing one listing per day, rather than one listing for the first day of the event as was the case previously. Any way to fix this? See http://oto-usa.org/ , top right widget. Note my events-shown limit is 3, but there are more than three items shown because of the repetitions for each day of the three multi-day events.

  • I have this exact same question too!

I agree. I have been struggling with multi day events and the limit value in the event builder and the widget.
No matter what I do or set multi day events display every day in both.
The event limit also seems to have no effect whatsoever in the event builder.

I take it all back 🙂

If you select your feed from the new Gcal Events menu item delect your feed on the GCal All Feed option.

Scroll down to the Multiple Day Events option and untick the box and then update.

It is a bit odd but the feed (which is a post?) also updates the behaviour of the widget.

    I hope this make sense.

That is correct. This should work. Please confirm if this works for everyone here so I can determine if this is a bug or not.

    Thanks!
