This is my first post to the forum, but not my first time dealing with WordPress. About a year ago I heavily modded a theme for a non-profit's use, now I'm working on building a website for my dad's architecture business.
I'm having a hard time finding a gallery or portfolio theme that's clean, organized, and easy to use (trying to make it so my 63 year old dad can upload his own pictures instead of calling me every week to do it for him!)
My thoughts are to create a "portfolio" page, which will actually be a glorified blog, but arranged horizontally vs vertically. When a new 'post' is created, it will 'line up' from left to right.
Each post will have 3-8 thumbnails, stacked one on top of each other. I plan on using prettyPhoto so when you click on the thumbnails, the gallery will open that way.
Do you think this is feasible? If so, what type of coding will be needed in order to get the posts to stack and stand up that way? Any ideas?
