I'm wondering how I could easily use a different single.php for a single post, or how I can use the single.php post page for more then one style of single post. Is this possible? How might I go about it?

Here is the situation. I'm building a blog that has 5 categories. Each category will have its own blog/loop. 1 of those categories has a different blog/loop template. I figured that part out pretty easy using the html body class and basing my css off of that. The issue lies in the single page. The body is not getting a special category class. My fix was to inject a class in to the container div using php. That works but feels hacky to me. There has to be an easier way, perhaps a built in way to accomplish this.

    Thanks for any help.
