• Hey guys,
If I am writing content in a page or post on a sub blog and I add a link (/something.php/)in the content than it gets redirected to the primary blog (www.primaryblog.com/something.php). I need the link to stay on the SUB blog (www.primaryblog/MYBLOG/something.php). Yes I could just write out the whole link every time but long story short that wont work with my setup. Does that make since? I need links in a post or page to stay on THAT specific blog and not go to the main blog. Any suggestions anyone?
I’m sure this has been talked about a billion times already but I can’t seem to find it under the forums.

  • If you use “/” at the beginning of the link, that’s going to lead back to the root of your domain. That’s a fundamental HTML (actually, as fundamental as file systems, not just HTML) principle.

You could try linking to “something.php” or “/MYBLOG/something.php” instead of “/something.php” and see if that helps. Otherwise, you’ll need to include the full URL.

Thanks for the reply! yeah I was just hoping “/” would lead me back to the root of the blog I was using but it didn’t. I actually just just left off the “/” and it did exactly what I wanted.
