   Has anyone used this thing? The readme is a little unclear, and the only other two posts I've found here about it were unresolved and confusing.

   I have the file for the 301 php redirect.
   I changed the URL like it says, and ensured that the permalinks setting is proper.

   Where do I put the file exactly, and what files do I republish... exactly?

   I'm SO not knowledgable with MT, so please be gentle with me. I'd much rather prefer a nice clean install of WP without worrying about the redirects... but I have to do what's asked of me.

   FWIW - Alex himself spent more time telling me that he'd be willing to charge me for the help, rather than to just answer one simple question or two. It would've taken less keystrokes to answer my question than it did for him to type out the response he did. *sigh*

   I'm desperate here - anyone?
