I'm trying to move my old Movable Type blog to a WordPress installation. I am generating the import file myself, since the old database is borked. The old trackbacks are getting imported as comments.
My test import file looks like this:

your download here link on shrpshr.html gives 404. Looks like there's an extra "static/" in there.

Putting that in a plugin is a hoot. good job.

The import screen claims that it's imported with 2 comments and 1 ping, but the ping doesn't show up as a ping when I filter on pings in the comment admin screen.
... now, admittedly, this makes almost no practical difference in my life; I don't display comments and pings differently or anything. But I hate losing metadata, even something as trivial as this.
Any ideas?
