The plugin does not seem to recognise .xlsx files as Excel spreadsheets, so the icon next to the download file link shows ? instead of the Excel icon. I've not checked if this is also true for other Office file types.
Are there plans to correct this?

did you try adding images to the images folder named like the extension of your files? Should do the job.

Hi, no I haven't tried doing anything beyond using the plugin as described. I understood that the spec of the plugin includes the display of an icon for common file types, which it does for e.g. .pdf and .xls. But it doesn't for .xlsx, which is surely a common file type?!
