I have a site that has been running for a year on an IIS box and I want to move the site over to a linux box and also update the WP to 3.1.
What issues will I have or should I look out for? I haven't set the site to have any pretty links, but I do a have a few plugins.
By the way this is the site: Attack From Planet B
All help welcome,
Cheers
Have you reviewed Moving_WordPress? All in all, the change should make it a lot easier to customise WP. It works a lot better on a Linux platform. The only thing to watch out for is plugin incompatibilities when you upgrade WP. I'd suggest deactivating all plugins, switching to the default theme and carrying out a full database backup before proceeding with the upgrade.
cheers fro the link.
I'll check it out
Thanks
