   I would like to move my WordPress installation to the root folder. Is this just as easy as moving the files, then changing the Site Address setting in phpMyAdmin?

   (The reason I'm doing this at all is I want to enable multisite WP. The installation must be in the root folder.)

   There's documentation on it, but it is very simple. You don't have to change anything on your database because it is on the same server so db name is not changing. Just read the page I just pasted, it'll explain everything. =] Good luck.
