    Hi there,

I have a Word Press blog installed at a sub directory of my domain. I would like to move the word press blog to the root so i can use it to content manage the 'static' pages of my website instead of just the blog pages. At this stage all i have is posts, no pages. I am hoping to maintain all the blog posts at there current URLS (SE Friendly) to maintain the rankings and Pagerank. But i would like all static pages to be in the root.

So my contact page for example will be http://www.xxx.com/contact-us/ and my "how to make a website' blog post will be at http://www.xxx.com/blog/2011/02/how-to-make-a-website/ (which is where it is currently)

At the moment the Word Press blog is installed at http://www.xxx.com/blog/ so all pages will have this prefix, basically i just want to remove the /blog/ part of the URL for pages only, posts will maintain the /blog/ in the URL.

I hope someone here can help me!

    Thanks
    Robert
