Moving WordPress Site | "no license!" and 500 Internal Server Errors (2 posts)

I tried moving my website and I think I've messed everything up.

I tried using these instructions: http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress to put my move my wp site from "jacklynnpham.com/portfolio" to just "jacklynnpham.com" but it didn't work (right now there is a flash website on it, that's not my wp site). So I changed it back to .../portfolio in General>Settings but it still didn't come up. I entered the help code for the wp-login.php and that didn't work. I entered the help code for wp-config.php and that got my index to reappear but none of my other pages.

I tried reloading my back up onto wordpress but I still got a strange "no license" error (for /portfolio). I reloaded my backup onto the main server (public_html) and then I got the 500 Internal Server Error message....I've also manually entered changed server name (jacklynnpham.com/) from my phpAdmin but both URLs still don't work.

Have I completely broken something? I don't want to start all over if I don't have to.

So where I am now: the last time I was able to login to wp-admin, my URLs were "jacklynnpham.com/portfolio" and I want to change it to "jacklynnpham.com". My files are both in the main public_html and a "portfolio" directory in my ftp site.

    Thanks in advance!

Is it a loss cause? I've tried a lot of things and I don't want to loose all my information
