Moving WordPress site from subfolder

Hello,

I originally installed a wordpress app on a subfolder of my main domain name. (formula1auto.com/beta)

When I finished building the overall wordpress site I was then ready to move into the main domain root. (formula1auto.com)

Not being experienced in doing this I haven’t had any luck seeing the wp site I created with it’s content.

These are the steps I took in an attempt to get this done: I changed the URL on the word admin settings page and copied over the files in to the main root. I followed the instructions from this link.

Since then, I’m getting a blank page and not seeing my template I started working with. I’m in serious need of help. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
