   I'm testing WordPress on www. mywebsite .com/test/ but when everything is finished what will I have to do to move it to www. mywebsite .com ?

   Change the addresses:

   Login > Options
   Change both addresses
   THEN
   move the files
   then it'll all work :)

   Do you have content on there that you wish to keep? If it's just a test site, and you have created a theme you can simply move your theme over to the installation to where you want it.

   Alternatively, you can check our Podz's rather excellent tutorial on how to move another domain:

   http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/move/

   In principal it's the same, just follow the guide step by step from backing up to moving your files and it should work. I tried it, and it was pretty flawless.

   EDIT: damn wish I tried that one Podz...ah well
