Moving To Root Directory – What URL address do I use?

Hi

I installed WordPress into a separate folder “/wp” via namesco host and its zeus server.

My current flash site is in the root directory and I am moving those files out (and storing them in a separate folder) so I can move my word press site into the main root directory, and make it my main site.

I have read the info on here about how to move it (just copy the files into root directory), but it says to make sure I key in URL fields before I move. Can someone please advise as to what these might be?

Current WP URL
http://firstname-surname.com/wp

Current Root Directory Flash site
http://www.firstname-surname.com
*is this the URL I need to key into the two fields before move?

And would I need to log into my database part and make any changes there before the move?

I am just nervous about moving it when I have put so much work into getting it up and running with loads of content.

Would really appreciate someone’s help
