Moving to New Sever

    Hi, I want to move a WP site to a new server to update plugins and WordPress itself (to make sure it’s all working before doing it on the live site).

    I’ve read this – http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress – but it wouldn’t be ideal to change the url’s within the settings tab in the admin control panel of WP, as this will cause problems with the live site.

    Is there any other way to do this?
