   Hi,

   My blog is on globalpioneering.com and I want to move it to alphysics.com. Both are hosted by the same company. I read the related posts in forums and I also asked the helpdesk of the hosting company. But I couldn't make this work. Can someone help?

   The major problem I noticed was that comments no longer worked in the new domain. Also there seems to be a problem with .htaccess file. I changed the permissions on that to 777 and still it is telling me that I should change the options manually. And I don't know how to do that (it's not a text file.)

   Now I deleted the wp02 folder in alphysics.com. I also noticed that I lost the login link on the blog.

   I also want to update to the newer version and I can leave K2 and use the default WP style if that would make upgrade easier.

   Thanks. Those are the instructions I tried to follow. It's not clear to me if I'm moving to a new server or within my site. I tried the instructions for the new server. It seemed to work except that comments were giving 404 error.
