Moving site from godaddy to amazon

Hello, I’ve been trying to move my WordPress site from godaddy to my Amazon server.After installing WordPress 3.5.1 on the Amazon instance, I restored my wordpress root files, backed up my database from Godaddy webhosting which had MySQL version 5.0 and dumped it into the Amazon instance MySQL Database which is of version 5.5. The database name, username and the password are the same. The only change required in wp-config.php was the “DB HOST” which I changed into “localhost”.

All this done, when I try to access the site, it shows a blank page. Please help asap.

I’ve also tried restoring the databse using phpMyadmin, after exporting the sql file, the import doesn’t seem to be happening. It shows “The file is being processed, please be patient.”
